My name is Honeliz Perales and I am a wife and mom. Both of my children have Bardet Biedl Syndrome, and that comes with a lot of medical complexities, blindness, obesity, kidney disease, as well as many others. While navigating a kidney transplant last year, I decided to put pen to paper and create a future for my daughter Heidi and my son Samuel. I wanted to have a female main character with all of her medical complications as well as all of her amazing qualities. For Samuel's book, I had a little bit more freedom since he's only four at the moment. From there Strawberry Falls was created. I have been inspired not only by the people around me, but also the state of Minnesota, especially Rochester.
In my books you will find a lot of worship and praying, God has done some amazing things in our lives and I wanted to share them with all of you.
